Payment and Refund Policy

If your company is responsible for your course fees, please make certain that your payment request is processed in advance so there will be no interruption in your course schedule. Students who have not met the prepayment requirement will not be admitted unless their employer has already established credit terms with Sonic Training's accounting department.

Class payment for open-enrollment courses is due in full prior to the start date of the class, with the exception of students from government agencies for which we have a valid purchase order. By entering your credit card information, the card is expected to be charged prior to the class, however, there are exceptions when the card is not charged. If purchaser or student completes our online registration form, an automatic receipt is generated and emailed to the purchaser. As the receipt states, we will notify you one week before the class to confirm the course and if this confirmation is not received, (due to email or voicemail errors) please do not attend the course. You can contact us if you have not received this notice from us. If you do attend the course without this confirmation notice, we cannot be responsible for any travel arrangements (hotel, flight, etc.).

Payment Choices

 * Credit Cards: Sonic Training accepts Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
 * Checks and Money Orders: We accept money orders and company or personal checks.
 * Purchase Orders: Sonic Training will accept a purchase order only from companies that have previously established credit with our accounting department.


Intended Audience
: Sonic Training provides technology training to students employed by corporate (corporations, LLC’s, sole proprietorships, etc) and government entities.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

You may cancel a class without a cancellation charge up to 10 business days prior to the class start date. If you must cancel with less notice, you will be required to pay for the full amount of the class. You will have the option to send a substitute student to your scheduled class in your place or reschedule the class at no additional fee for up to six months. If you are unable to reschedule the class for any reason or Sonic Training no longer offers the class, no refund will be provided. If a student cancels twice within the 10 business day period, no rescheduling is permitted and full registration is due. (We can offer a discount if you register for same class again.)

Sonic Training asks that you notify us as soon as possible if you need to reschedule a class. Sonic Training has up to thirty days to refund or partially refund (whichever applies) a course or courses after notification from student. In addition, if you attend more than one day from a two (or more) day class, then you are not eligible for a refund (unless that second day is canceled). If student attends a course and the repeat course is cancelled, no refund is allowed. As stated on the Training Packages page, no package refund is given after the first class is completed (for exceptions on package refunds, each course taken is priced at full retail cost). For corporate Training Tickets and pre-payment arrangements: After the use of the first training ticket, no refund is allowed for the remaining tickets. If bulk payment is made upfront, remaining funds will count towards future training credits, but not monetary refund.


Sonic Training Class Rescheduling
Sonic Training reserves the right to change course prices or modify the schedule of courses at any time, including postponement or cancellation. All modifications that impact enrolled students will be communicated as quickly as possible. Sonic Training will make a reasonable effort to notify you in the event of a cancellation or rescheduling. Notwithstanding the above, Sonic Training shall not be responsible for any travel, lodging, or any other expenses in the event of a class cancellation or rescheduling. Certain courses require a minimum enrollment to guarantee class to run (please ask our registration department which classes and your course status).

Free Course Retake Guarantee
Course Retake Guarantee is our commitment to flexibility. Within six months of attending a Sonic Training public course, you may retake the same course at no charge, on a space available basis and if class is not sold out with first-time students. (If student attends a course and the repeat course is cancelled, no refund is allowed. Courses may be cancelled if minimum enrollment is not met. )

On-Site Training Information
For courses held at client sites, Sonic Training provides all student materials including student guides and necessary textbooks. The client is responsible for providing the training venue including computer hardware and software required for laboratory sessions unless otherwise noted and agreed upon by client and Sonic Training. Sonic Training can provide equipment to support training at very reasonable rates when required. Course delivery is scheduled by mutual agreement in accordance with the availability of Sonic Training instructors and the requirements of the client corporation. Payment is due Net 15 of the final day of each course delivery. Payment in full must be received at least ten (10) business days before your scheduled course begins for first-time clients.  If client cancels the training within 10 (ten) business days, then full payment amount is due and Sonic Training can reschedule at a discounted amount. Sonic Training has up to thirty days to refund or partially refund (whichever applies) a course or courses after notification from client firm. If any promotional gift item is given to client and a refund is requested, then the cash value (as paid by Sonic Training) of the item is deducted from the refund amount.

Sonic Training Purchase Policy
Sonic Training reserves the right to change course prices at any time. Sonic Training reserves the right to modify our schedule of courses at any time. All modifications that impact enrolled students will be communicated via phone and/or email. Sonic Training reserves the right to exclude class participants who, in our judgment, are disruptive to the class or who fail to make acceptable payment arrangements.

Pre Class Student Preparation Information
If you are scheduled to attend a daytime session, we ask that you please check in by 8:30 a.m. on your first day. Thereafter, class sessions begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. and conclude at 4:00 p.m. There will be a 15- minute refreshment break each morning and afternoon, as well as a one-hour lunch break, usually at noon. Please plan to make and return any telephone calls during the scheduled breaks.
