The ILT Series Goldmine 5: Basic is designed for individuals who want learn how to manage personal information and information about business contacts. Students will learn basic skills such as how to create a contact database and edit a new contact record. The manual is designed for quick scanning in the classroom and filled with interactive exercises that help ensure student success.
Objectives
- Search for specific contacts and filter contacts based on criteria.
- Tag contacts; create, activate, and release groups; create new organizations and sections; link contacts to an organization; link a new contact to an organization; and delete an organization.
- Create, change, and close sales opportunities; and assign quotas and analyze sales.

DAY TWO
This ILT Series Goldmine 5: Advanced is for students who to manage personal information and information about business contacts by using GoldMine 5.0. Students will learn many advanced topics of Goldmine like creating and modifying a field as well as using the Web features. The manual is designed for quick scanning in the classroom and filled with interactive exercises that help ensure student success.
Objectives
- Create a contact report, a report with specific data, a report with sorted data, labels, sales reports, and modify and print a report.
- Create, run, edit, and delete a macro, and add a macro to a toolbar and delete a macro from a toolbar.
- Rename and move a folder in InfoCenter, create an InfoCenter book, folder, and topic, search InfoCenter, change access rights for a book, and delete a book.
- Import data from another GoldMine database and a text file, export data to a text file, and synchronize data with hand-held devices.
